Famous Players

Many people have become famous through playing this thrilling game and although i don't exactly have a certain favorite player, there are many players I follow and try to keep track of. There is Lionel Messi for instance, one of today's most amazing soccer players and one of the best players in history. He is just so very talented and skilled with the ball, there is little he can't do. Cristiano Ronaldo, a hardworking Portuguese player that is also know to be one of the best players today, is incredibly talented and has worked hard for all of his achievements. Players like Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Paul Pogba, Antoine Greizman, Gareth Bale, Pirlo, Xavi, Iniesta, Scholes, Beckham, and so many more are part of the reason I love this sport. Just to see the way they play on the pitch is a privilege.

My History

Hello, my name is Oscar Romero and I chose this topic for my blog, because its something easy I can write about and it is my favorite sport. I used to play for a couple of leagues when I was younger and I also played for my high school team. I usually played the right winger position and was best at making crosses and key passes. When I play on an outdoor field, I usually don't score too many goals, I focus more on helping my team. However on an indoor field, I tend to challenge the opposing team more and take a lot more shots and score a lot more goals.

The Rules

Soccer has a large amount of rules that need to be enforced when playing the sport, so I will only talk about a few important ones. The main goal of the sport is to defeat the opposing team by scoring goals against them. There are many different types of rules for different games of soccer, but typically in an outdoor field, there are 11 players per team on each side of the field. Depending on the type of game and field, there could be between 2 and 9 substitutes and reserves sitting on the bench. There is a referee within the field enforcing rules such as hand ball, offsides, fouls, etc...and two others outside of the field assisting him.
